What this job involves - The Senior Director, Division Operations for JLL's Technology Division within Work Dynamics is a key senior leadership role responsible for translating our division's vision into tangible results. This leader will serve as a trusted advisor to the Division President and Managing Directors, driving efficiency and operational excellence across a global, matrixed environment. The Business Services and Programs Lead will manage internal, routine business functions, allowing our client-facing leaders to remain focused on market expansion, building industry eminence, and nurturing key client relationships.

This role requires a proven leader who can shape and execute strategy, optimize workflows, and unify teams. By leveraging a deep network within the firm, the Operations Director will champion transformational change and influence cross-functional teams to execute strategic goals with precision and agility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership & Efficiency: Drive the day-to-day internal operations of the division. This includes overseeing critical business processes such as internal audits, compliance, training, reporting, GAME/Momentum, and other systems. Lead efforts to streamline workflows and eliminate inefficiencies to foster a more agile and effective operating model.
  • Strategic Execution & Program Management: Partner with senior leadership to design and implement strategic initiatives that enhance financial performance. Oversee the successful execution of all divisional and corporate programs, ensuring teams have the resources and support needed to deliver with impact. This involves translating high-level vision into actionable outcomes and aligning key activities with broader business objectives.
  • Vision & Innovation: Act as a thought partner to senior leaders, guiding the development of new initiatives and proposing innovative solutions that set JLL apart in the marketplace. Foster a culture of creativity and fresh ideas, and define the roadmap for key programs that enhance both the employee and client experience.
  • People & Culture: Partner with HR to cultivate a high-performance culture grounded in employee engagement, leadership development, and continuous learning. Take the lead in organizing and defining the plan Division leadership meetings, Division Workouts, Global Industries meetings, Town Halls, and other forums that strengthen relationships and align a global workforce.
  • Global Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Manage the flow of information across a complex, global organization. Work with business units to align leadership, resources, and strategies, ensuring cohesive collaboration. Deliver clear and consistent messaging to all levels so internal stakeholders remain informed on progress, key outcomes, and operational objectives.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Establish governance structures and accountability frameworks that promote transparency and effective decision-making. Oversee the tracking and reporting of key internal performance metrics and provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is required, and an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly desirable.
  • Experience: 15+ years of progressive experience in operations, consulting, or a client-service role, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
  • Strategic Execution: A demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate complex operational challenges into programs that support enterprise priorities.
  • People Leadership: A collaborative leader who can inspire, influence, and build trust with teams and stakeholders across a matrixed environment.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to coordinate cross-functionally and deliver clear, concise messaging across all levels of a global organization.
  • Mindset: Comfortable with ambiguity. A highly organized, results-driven achiever who can manage multiple initiatives and execute in a fast-paced environment while upholding the highest standards.

Estimated compensation for this position:

170,000.00 - 250,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
