Description
Responsibilities:
- Patrol Guest and Team Member parking areas and surrounding areas, continually observing them for unattended minors/animals left in vehicle, prowlers, vehicle break in, parking in restricted areas, blocking of exits and fire hazards and other suspicious or prohibited activity.
- Always remain alert for burglaries, prowlers, vandalism, trespassers, removal of casino property without proper authorization, and any additional suspicious activity.
- Issue parking citations for unauthorized parking.
- Escort Team Members to and from their vehicles when requested. Jump-start Team Members' or Guests' vehicles when needed.
- Assist valet parking attendants in controlling traffic when necessary or parking vehicles.
- Observe, report and take action as directed by the supervisor or above with respect to all suspicious, unusual situations.
- Respond to and assist in all emergencies, including but not limited to fires, medical emergencies, and criminal activity.
- Respond to all disturbances in order to defuse the incident.
- Must make sound judgment when interacting with Team members and guests.
- Interact with guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Be aware of and handle guest opportunities to ensure overall guest satisfaction in accordance with CQ's Service PACK.
- Investigate and prepare written reports on incidents/medicals that occur outside during the shift in a timely manner.
- Document all incidents and property damage as directed.
- Practice teamwork, support fellow Team Members, and create an energized, positive work atmosphere.
- Provide maintenance to assigned bicycle as needed, including but not limited to: Proper mechanical and battery operations (lights), Serviceability (i.e. lube, tire pressure, etc.), Reporting damage to bicycle or property
- Assist other Security Officers as needed.
- Maintain a high level of personal integrity.
- Other duties as assigned.

Total Compensation: $15.00 per hour
Qualifications
Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent, required (preferred)
Must be at least 21 years of age (preferred)
6 months of security experience, required (preferred)
Knowledge of Casino Security operations, preferred (preferred)
Able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written. (preferred)
Ability to extended hours, weekends, and holidays (preferred)
Must be able to follow orders and perform under high stress situations (preferred)
Must be able to obtain and maintain a State Gaming License (preferred)
Must have a valid driver's license (preferred)
Must successfully complete Bike Officer Class (preferred)
