POSITION SUMMARY

The Office Manager for the Health and Safety Department provides comprehensive administrative support to departmental management. This position requires a safety-oriented individual with strong organizational skills. Mainly the Office Manager will be responsible for contracts administration, but must also professionally screen incoming calls, process departmental mail, coordinate meetings, and maintain departmental calendars. Additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, creating and managing a comprehensive filing system, supporting safety initiatives, and assisting with the preparation of reports and presentations.

Starting wage between $70,304.00 - $83,577.29 depending on experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Experience with Contract Management and Certificates of Insurance.
  • Training of, or experience with, managing safety; some OSHA training preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, employees, guests, verbally and in writing.
  • Skilled in designing reports, writing business correspondence, proofreading, and editing written materials.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, browser-based research tools, Workday, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
  • Must possess a valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
