About the Position: The position's teaching requirements follows the workload policy which is four (4) undergraduate courses (lower and upper level) such as Calculus, Discrete Mathematics, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations) each semester and provides some service duties associated with the department's undergraduate degree. Additional Assignment: The Mason Experimental Geometry Lab (MEGL) Outreach Director will receive a reduction of two courses per semester and leads the outreach branch of the Mason Experimental Geometry Lab (https://megl.science.gmu.edu/). They engage the community through small-group activities at nearby K-12 schools and community centers, reaching approximately 1,000 students through 30 events each semester with the help of an outreach team consisting of 1-2 graduate students and 2-4 undergraduate students. The Outreach Director oversees and trains staff, schedules activities, and leads in-person activities. This additional assignment is considered to be an "at-will" position. Required Qualifications:
