The Senior Revenue Integrity Analyst is a key member of the Mid-Revenue Cycle team, responsible for driving revenue optimization, compliance, and financial performance across highly complex service lines. This senior-level role serves as a subject matter expert in healthcare reimbursement, charge capture, and billing integrity. The Senior Analyst provides mentorship to peers, supports onboarding of new team members, and leads initiatives that improve financial performance, regulatory compliance, automation, and operational efficiency.

This role requires a deep understanding of the full revenue lifecycle and the ability to interpret and respond to evolving healthcare regulatory changes. The Senior Analyst must be comfortable presenting financial and operational data to executive leadership and guiding strategic decisions based on data-driven insights.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Serve as a lead resource for complex billing, reimbursement, and charge capture scenarios across inpatient, outpatient, professional, and provider-based services.

  • Analyze highly specialized and high-revenue service lines to ensure accurate reimbursement, charge capture, and compliance with payer regulations.

  • Monitor and interpret healthcare regulatory changes, assessing their impact on revenue integrity and recommending organizational strategies in response.

  • Present financial performance, data trends, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.

  • Mentor analysts by providing guidance, training, and subject matter expertise; actively participate in onboarding new team members.

  • Partner with clinical and operational leadership to design and implement charge reconciliation workflows that minimize revenue leakage and mitigate financial risk.

  • Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, and Revenue Cycle leadership to evaluate policies and develop strategies that support accurate billing and reimbursement.

  • Partner with ITDS to drive Epic automation, optimize revenue integrity workflows, and support innovation that reduces manual processes and improves efficiency.

  • Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Analytics to assess the net revenue impacts of regulatory changes and payer policy updates.

  • Monitor the financial performance of the enterprise in relation to charge capture, identifying areas of underperformance and recommending corrective action.

  • Lead or co-lead multidisciplinary committees and workgroups, serving as a trusted advisor on revenue integrity best practices.

  • Oversee complex Epic Revenue Guardian edits, dashboards, and work queues, ensuring timely resolution of revenue integrity issues.

  • Identify, scope, and lead projects that improve workflows, standardize practices, and enhance overall revenue performance.

  • Develop and deliver advanced staff education on reimbursement methodologies, government and payer regulations, and best practices in revenue integrity.

  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to support alignment of revenue cycle processes with organizational strategy.

What's Available:

  • Fulltime, 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE)

  • Monday-Friday core business hours

  • Remote work options for residents in WI, MN, or IA only, with occasional need to work onsite for support initiatives

An Ideal Candidate Will Have:
