The Lentzsch Laboratory of the Multiple Myeloma and Amyloidosis Program at Columbia University in New York seeks a self-motivated, creative, and experienced Postdoctoral Research Scientist interested in developing and applying cutting-edge novel immunotherapy for AL amyloidosis. The incumbent will work on new and ongoing research projects as directed by the PI and collaborating PIs.





  • Ph.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent degree in biology or a related field by the start of the appointment.
  • Familiarity with standard biological laboratory techniques, especially human hematopoietic stem cell and macrophage culture, lentiviral transduction, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry staining, and animal studies. Especially, expertise or previous experiences in macrophage biology, humanized mice model, and antibody development are preferred.
  • The applicant should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have an exemplary work ethic with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Applicants should demonstrate the ability to work independently with proficiency in standard software and data management files.
