Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and leadership expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and dynamic teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in shaping engineering strategies and driving technical excellence within the organization. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Services Engineering, Platforms, Sourcing, and Industrial), manage engineering resources and performance, and much more."

We'll look to you for:




  • Producing the technical development plan and the engineering work breakdown. ,



  • Monitoring progress of engineering studies and ensuring QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) achievements. ,



  • Supporting the implementation and update of engineering risk mitigation plans. ,



  • Maintaining and developing engineering skills and competencies, leveraging with WCE. ,



  • Collaborating with Services Engineering and Platforms to enhance the Services portfolio of products and services. ,



  • Participating actively in the Services Engineering network. ,



  • Owning the Configuration and Design Change Management and Engineering Management Processes. ,



  • Managing the technical performance of systems and providing REX (Return of Experience) to relevant Services Platforms. ,



  • Supporting cost reduction actions in collaboration with Sourcing and Industrial teams. ,



  • Detecting, defining, and implementing modifications to maintained products to improve reliability and serviceability, reducing project costs and enhancing system performance."

  • Degree in Railway Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Automation Engineering, or Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. ,



  • Experience or understanding of Railways system/Application engineering (3-5 years). ,



  • Knowledge of rolling stock equipment. ,



  • Proficient in communication and negotiation skills. ,



  • Familiarity with rolling stock maintenance. ,



  • Leadership and engineering team management skills. ,



  • Problem-solving capacity (technical and cost evaluation of a solution). ,



  • Capacity for managing technical risks. ,



  • Working knowledge of safety management systems and safety risk assessment. ,



  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office, SAP, and BI/BO tools.
