What you will do:

The OpenBlue Customer Support Administrator will be responsible for delivering comprehensive pre- and post-sales booking support for Johnson Controls Inc. (JCI) Install and Services businesses, specifically focused on OpenBlue offerings (including Legacy OB and Legacy FMS). This role ensures accurate deal booking, contract creation, margin tracking, and compliance with Delegation of Authority (DOA) guidelines.

How you will do it:

  • Provide end-to-end booking support for OpenBlue Install and Services transactions, including pre-sales set-up and post-sales validation.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of provided margins and manage DOA processes to support deal variations.
  • Guide and coach stakeholders in the creation of master/child contracts, multi-term service agreements, and pre-paid PSA structures.
  • Collaborate closely with regional COAs (Customer Operations Associates) and CSRs (Customer Service Representatives) to ensure accurate and timely deal bookings.
  • Validate post-sales contract details and maintain accurate records within booking systems.
  • Identify internal branch stakeholders, track project start dates, and request internal PO's.
  • Coach branch sellers on proper tagging of product codes within booking ERPs.
  • Support OpenBlue sellers and internal teams in navigating JCI's regional booking platforms.
  • Facilitate renewal bookings and ensure continuity of service agreements.
  • Document and enhance the booking process for OpenBlue, making it easier for the teams.

What we look for:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales Administration, Quoting, or Order Entry roles with direct interaction with sales teams.
  • Associate's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Proficiency in JCI Americas booking systems such as CBS (IBS), NxGen, and Solution Navigator.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and technical skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $27.50-$37.76 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
