Inova Health is looking for a dedicated Project Manager to join the team. This role will be full-time day shift from Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Onsite The Project Manager assumes responsibility for implementing new programs and initiatives. Provides direction and supervision of all newly established programs and processes where required. Provides workflow analysis and documentation for the Medical Management department, outpatient/inpatient, case/disease management, special populations, vendor management, denial process, and assessment of the contract requirements for all services. Project Manager Job Responsibilities
- Assumes responsibility for implementing new programs and initiatives.
- Oversees the implementation of all projects and initiatives within the Care Management department and cross-boundary initiatives.
- Ensures department projects and any interfacing projects meet all objectives are completed on time and within budget.
- Designs and implements systems/programs for the collection, aggregation, analysis, and dissemination of clinical and financial data.
- Provides direction and supervision of all newly established programs and processes where required.
- Ensures consistency of processes within Care Management function areas and points of interface with other disciplines.
- Provides support for the development and implementation of primary care evidence-based protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Ensures uniformity of specification in cross-functional projects and programs.
- Ensures cross-functional efficiency in workflows and processes.
- Ensures cross-coordination and connection of disparate functions including coordination between inpatient and outpatient functions.
- Provides for the aggregation and flow of data/information across functional areas in Care Management and beyond.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Experience - 2 years of management experience and 5 years of Project Management experience Education - Bachelor's degree in relevant field (or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree) Preferred Requirements
- Demonstrated experience coordinating and managing clinical trials, including patient scheduling, informed consent, data collection, and regulatory documentation.
- Hands-on experience interacting with and seeing patients for clinical trial activities, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with study protocols.
- Strong background in clinical research operations and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to conduct and support research activities, including literature reviews, protocol development, and data analysis.
- Experience working across diverse teams and disciplines, such as physicians, nurses, data managers, and statisticians.
- Exposure to multiple therapeutic areas and disease groups, with flexibility to adapt to varying protocols and study requirements.
