JOB PURPOSE: The PSA Compliance Manager at the Eagle Lake Children's Center oversees the ongoing compliance of the Interim Final Rule (IFR), as well as compliance with section ORR MAPS Section 4: Preventing, Detecting, and Responding to Sexual Abuse and Sexual Review and Prevention as it applies to the center and the safety and well- being of the unaccompanied children in care.


Qualifications

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSBILITIES:



  • Knowledgeable of Interim Final Rule 411 on Standards to Prevent, Detect, and Respond to Sexual Abuse and Sexual Prevention.
  • Maintain knowledge of ORR policy Section 4 on standards Preventing, Detecting, and Manages Responding to Sexual Abuse.
  • Manage the CLE incident reporting process.
  • Maintain knowledge of TDFPS Minimum Standards as is applies to Sexual Abuse.
  • Assist trainer in designing and conducting staff training on the Prevention of Sexual Abuse.
  • Conduct monthly audits as coordinated with the Director of Compliance.
  • Monitor PSA training for all staff, contractors, and volunteers.
  • Participate in monthly ORR PSA calls.
  • Oversee PSA Audit process.
  • Assist in maintaining all departments in compliance with ORR, Licensing, and CARF standards.
  • Participate in Monthly PO calls with the program.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with ORR's DCPI Investigation Unit, coordinating communications, requests, and required documentation.
  • Gather, analyze, and report significant compliance data to leadership and ORR as required.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date tracking of investigations and other compliance-related activities, ensuring clear documentation and timely reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned.



ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS



  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Proficiency in Spanish/English (written and spoken language skills), required.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Google tools.
  • Successfully pass a TB test.
  • Successfully pass a drug screen.
  • Be physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of performing assigned tasks and have the skills necessary to perform assigned task.
  • Pass a criminal history screen, including state, federal, and local child protection agency registries.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise a high level of confidentiality.
  • Affidavit for Applicants for Employment with a Licensed Operation or Registered Children's Home.



EDUCATION:



  • Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science, human services or social services field.
  • One (1) year experience working with child welfare standards, best practices, or quality assurance or compliance.



LICENSES: Driver's License with clear record required.

WORK LOCATION:Eagle Lake Children's Center - in-person.

OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel in case of an emergency evacuation and as the business need dictates. Must be available and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required to meet the needs of the center.
