Professional Summary We are seeking a motivated and professional Collections Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role involves handling high-volume inbound and outbound calls to resolve billing inquiries and collect on past-due accounts. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to remain calm and solution-oriented when working with upset customers. This position requires attention to detail, basic technical and math skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities * Handle 40-50 inbound calls daily to answer billing questions and provide resolution options. * Make 90-120+ outbound calls per day using various collection strategies to recover past-due balances. * Offer payment solutions, including negotiating payment in full or setting up payment arrangements. * Contact customers once to inform them of their balance and available resolution options. * Review and manage customer accounts to identify discrepancies and initiate resolution requests. * Accurately input customer information and detailed notes into the Cubs CRM system. * Utilize Noble system for receiving and placing calls efficiently. * Demonstrate professionalism and empathy when interacting with upset or frustrated customers. * Show consistent outreach efforts and follow-up to maintain client engagement and trust. Qualifications Must Have: * Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience. * Stable work history with no roles shorter than one year. * Strong verbal communication skills and professional phone etiquette. * Ability to handle upset customers calmly and effectively. * Basic computer skills (e.g., restarting systems, using browsers, Microsoft Office, typing). * Basic math skills for payment calculations and account adjustments. * Proven reliability, punctuality, and ability to multitask in previous roles. Nice to Have: * 1-2 years of recent collections experience or familiarity with state and local collection laws. * 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
