As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a government facility. Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting routine patrols throughout the assigned location, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of reliability, agility, and innovation that define Allied Universal. By fostering a welcoming and secure atmosphere, you will contribute to a positive experience for everyone at the site, working collaboratively with your team and always acting with integrity.

Pay Rate: $20.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all security-related activities and incidents.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
