The Project Manager will be responsible to oversee, coordinate and manage progress / coordination for individual projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage the development of the client brief and Project Execution Plans to suit the specific requirements of the project.
* Deliver full design management and manage design teams in the development of design solutions to meet the client's expectations and budget.
* Oversee and advise on local government approvals process.
* Administer complex building contracts, proactively managing and confirming the compliance of contractors/consultants to the contract terms and conditions.
* Manage the compilation of tender documents and critically review tender returns, contract negotiations, award of contracts and client reporting.
* Ensure project documentation, programs, master budget etc are adhered to by the team.
* Deliver client and internal reports to suit relevant stages of the projects.
* Deliver projects within the framework of risk, sustainability and environmental considerations agreed at the business case/client brief stage, while maintaining focus on time, cost and quality.
* Manage and report on the contractor's progress against the contract program.
* Manage external consultant teams and internal design managers to ensure that design is done in compliance with the contract.
* Manage consultant teams to ensure that the built product is compliant with the contract.
* Perform other related duties as required, supporting team members across disciplines and the wider division.
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
* Good report writing and communication skills
* Fluency in English both verbal & written communication
* Relevant technical knowledge & experience
* User of MS Office and relevant software
* Familiarity with Health & Safety standards
* Excellent resource, planning, and time management skills
QUALIFICATIONS
* Minimum 10 years academic and related industry experience (engineering / architecture / construction) combined
* PMP / PMI
* APM
