Advantage Technical is seeking a Product Engineer to support Body-in-White Sealing components for SRT vehicle carlines. In this role, you'll be responsible for the design, development, testing, and production release of key sealing components
including baffles, mastics, plugs, tapes, PUR foam, and more.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, support local assembly plants, and contribute to product quality, water management, corrosion resistance, and vehicle weight reduction initiatives.

Pay Rate: $42.10 - $42.95/hour

Schedule: Onsite 3 days/week |Travel: 20-30%

Responsibilities:



  • Design and develop BIW sealing components from concept through production
  • Create and maintain DFMEAs, DVPRs, and performance standards
  • Conduct and support component and vehicle validation tests
  • Assist assembly plants with design application and root cause analysis (onsite visits required)
  • Support dry car/water intrusion testing, corrosion prevention, and lightweighting efforts
  • Manage and release sealing component files for new and carryover SRT programs
  • Ensure compliance with engineering change processes and program milestones



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of engineering experience in BIW, closures, or exterior systems
  • Proficient in Unigraphics NX and Teamcenter
  • Experience in product launches, validation testing, and change management
  • Familiar with sealing materials, coatings, and root cause analysis (e.g., water/air leak testing)
  • Open to entry-level candidates with relevant project or internship experience
