About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Project Land Surveyor to join our Community Building team and support project delivery, survey task leadership and client engagement in our Oregon/Idaho region. This position can be based in Portland, Bend, Oregon or Boise, Idaho.

You Will:

  • Lead survey tasks on a wide variety of projects including boundary, ALTA, topographic surveys, records of survey, and construction support.
  • Manage survey project delivery from planning through completion, including scope, schedule, and budget oversight.
  • Provide QA/QC review of survey documents and ensure compliance with state and client standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers, planners, and other technical professionals to integrate survey data into broader project workflows.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of progressive survey experience for transportation infrastructure and site civil projects.
  • Your Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) licensure.
  • The ability to independently complete field-to-office tasks, including research, field coordination, and drafting.
  • Experience as a Project Manager or Survey Task Lead, with responsibility for QA/QC, project oversight, and client management.
  • Proficiency with survey technology, software, and methods (GPS, robotic total stations, drones, CAD platforms, etc.).

Compensation Information: Base salary for this position is in the range of $115,000-$140,000 depending on qualifications.

Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. We conduct an equity review for all positions. We value transparency in salary discussions and look forward to sharing more about our compensation structure and the benefits of being an employee-owner.
