POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide training to new and recently hired Dominium Maintenance employees. The Maintenance Operations Training Specialist trains new employees on key property maintenance operations processes and policies such as use of Yardi, digital maintenance devices and work order expectations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Communicate, train and follow procedures in the Preventive Maintenance and Safety manuals.
  • Communicate, train and follow procedures in the Operations Policy and Procedure Manual (OPPM).
  • Work closely with VP of Maintenance and Director of Operations to provide feedback on key areas where there are gaps in training or communication impacting our site teams.
  • Create and foster an environment in which employees understand our expectations, are challenged by their work, have opportunities for advancement and feel valued for the work they do.


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • 3 - 5 years Maintenance Supervisory, Training or other equivalent experience. Proficiency in all Dominium policies, procedures, reporting, and programs (Yardi, Digital Maintenance).
  • Excellent leadership skills, interpersonal skills, communication. Must be independent, a self starter.
  • Quickly assess site operations and deficiencies and implement immediate corrective plans. Must be an analytical problem solver: evaluate historical data, review current site operations, and make recommendations for improvement.


PAY: $62,000-$68,000/year + 5% bonus eligibility
