System Engineer Radford VA / Hybrid Pay From: $125, 000/yr MUST : Experienced Systems Engineer Active DoD Secret Clearance 6+ years of experience in system engineering Strong hands on experience with Windows Server and Active Directory administration Strong automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills Strong troubleshooting skills across the entire technology stack - network, storage, server, and applications Excellent communication skills both written and verbal High attention to details Strong problem-solving skills and highly analytical Current Security+ce or other IAT II certification Able to obtain a Windows Administration certification within 6 months of starting Bachelor Degree DUTIES : This position is for a Windows Engineer supporting multitenant private cloud hosting environment for hosting DoD enterprise and tactical application Help with the creation, Implementation, and Sustainment of Active Directory and Group Policy Objects Work with Government engineers to develop and maintain the AECC architecture. Develop, deploy, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for deployment and sustainment of the Windows based services Maintain patching services for all Windows hosts to patch from Serve as overall subject matter expert on Windows Administrator technology and market capabilities/trends Manage objects stored in Active Directory as delegated by Active Directory administrators Harden the Windows based services per commercial best practices and the required government cybersecurity controls Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of any Windows issues Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
