Loan Operations Specialist - Builder Finance Group
Overview
This position supports the Builder Finance Group by executing and managing daily loan transactions. Responsibilities include processing loan advances, payments, payoffs, fees, collateral releases, and conducting research as needed. The incumbent will serve as a key point of contact for internal departments and external attorney offices, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries and requests for information. Position Title: Builder Finance Loan Support Representative Business Unit: Operations Reports to: Manager of Builder Finance Loan Support Position Overview: This position is primarily responsible for performing various duties to support the servicing functions of builder finance loans, coordinating work within the department and with other departments and reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor.The incumbent is responsible for responding to inquiries or requests for information and maintaining the security of the department and account information. Primary Responsibilities: Ensures loan documentation accurately reflects instructions outlined in credit approval and is measured against established volume levels, reviews request for compliance with Bank policy and procedure and advises Lenders or Underwriters of deficiencies. Executes all aspects of loan servicing, such as but not limited to, remittance and reporting, posts payments for participated loans and builder finance loans, maintains SWAP loans base on established procedures and defines timelines with all functions meeting compliance requirements, timely recording of financial entries and customer satisfaction. Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the unit or department as well as with other units and departments in order to ensure smooth and efficient flow of information.Writes job procedures for assigned duties for final approval by immediate supervisor. Provides operational, administrative and/or technical guidance and support to internal customers as appropriate. Conducts advanced research on loan accounts as requested by field personnel and management. Ensures quality customer service to internal customers and attorney offices. Responds to inquiries or requests from customers and other company personnel within given time frames and within established policy.Processes document requests from various service providers. Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule. Compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate company personnel. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
