Requisition ID# 167385 Job Category: Business Operations / Strategy Job Level: Individual Contributor Business Unit: Information Technology Work Type: Hybrid Job Location: Oakland Department Overview Customer Privacy department within PG&E Information Technology organization supports the Safety, Risk, Regulatory, & Compliance Management business function by developing technical solutions for implementing, operating and maintaining compliance obligations with California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Right Act (CPRA) across all software solutions in PG&E. The Customer Privacy IT team manages IT support for Privacy platforms used to deliver CCPA/CPRA regulations. This includes day-to-day operational support, vendor co-ordination, and day-to-day tasks to manage cookie and consent content in order to meet privacy compliance requirements. Our mission statement is to safeguard personal privacy at PG&E through comprehensive privacy and data access governance, enhancing controls that protect customer and employee personal information, while raising employee awareness to the sensitivity regarding the importance of privacy. Position Summary This is an entry level role. The Business Analyst (BA) in Data Disposition plays a critical role in bridging compliance, business needs and technical implementation. They ensure that regulatory requirements are translated into actionable requirements for IT and business teams. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual hourly rate paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs. The salary range for this position ranges from $73,000 to $109,000 Job Responsibilities
