Associates are eligible to apply for a lateral transfer after completion of one (1) year of service in their present position, with the following exception: an Associate who has received a written warning is not eligible for a transfer/promotion prior to six (6) months from date of issuance; an Associate who has been suspended is not eligible for transfer/promotion prior to one (1) year from date of suspension. Part-time Associates who have completed their probationary period can move to full-time vacancies within their department provided such movement will not unreasonably reduce the operational efficiency of that department. Probationary period is three (3) months for full-time employees, and four (4) months for part-time employees who works more than 3/5 of the normal workweek. Probationary period will not apply to shift changes.

Dietary Worker

Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen, up to and including sweeping and mopping areas throughout the kitchen. Cleaning and Removed all garbage generated from the kitchen in hot production, cold production, tray line and dish room areas.

Assures the timely plating of all foods by preparing tray line for the plating and serving of all food by setting up all cooked and prepared foods, dishes, trays flatware, etc., at stations. Ensure Patient receives an accurate and complete food tray. Performs a variety of food service activities such as preparing, pouring, and portioning food, delivering meals to patients, and washing pots. Maintains the cleanliness of work area and equipment. Removes rubbish as needed to include but not limited to kitchen, hot and cold production area, ingredient room, storeroom, pot washing area, tray assembly area and cafeteria.

This is a part time position with hours 3 pm - 7:00 pm.

Education & Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent.
English proficiency (must be able to speak, read, and write effectively).
Ability to do basic computation Experience in customer service and food safety required.
