Job Summary
The Data Analyst II provides enterprise software support, design, development, installation, testing, and maintenance. The focus is on data integrations, reporting and business intelligence through the translation of business requirements into technical designs and providing documentation on technical specifications.
This position is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma and is required to work in the office at least 3 days a week.
Essential Functions
- Actively supports the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values".

- Serves as the Tier 2 escalation point for the Applications Analyst team. Participates in providing risk assessment, benefits analysis and best practices.
- Monitors and provides triage, support and analysis for Service Desk work orders, provides guidance in solutions and tools for custom applications, data integrations and reporting focused incidents formulating the best approach to resolving issues and fulfilling service requests.
- Leads in the capture, analysis and presentation of other internal and external data as required. Escalates only the more complex issues to Tier 3. May also escalate to an outside vendor as needed.
- Engages with customers to gather in-depth information around the request or incident to be able to analyze and determine the best and quickest approach to resolution. Also provides training and education when needed.
- Leads in the design of new reporting, business intelligence, data integration and custom application needs. Performs project management duties including delegation of tasks to others within the IT team.
- Ensures that all updates, patches, development and/or corrective software has been fully tested and documented. Leading the team in application administration, managing access, performance monitoring, and utilization tracking.
- Develops and performs testing for functional area's initiatives and updates to ensure quality prior to customers.
- Recommends modifications to the application, reporting or integration configuration and utilization that reduce costs and improve service while securing our environment. Including suggestions to modify or enhance existing policies and procedures through managing customer needs and overseeing the big picture of our user base.
- Maintains documentation and provides knowledgebase content and mentorship to lower levels.
- Performs other responsibilities as required or assigned.
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in software/application design and development
- Associate's degree in Computer Science or equivalent job-related experience/knowledge.
- Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques
- Experience in software and hardware support
- Experience in the use of back office processes and languages including but not limited to .NET, C#, VB, SQL Server and Oracle
- Demonstrates an awareness of database administration, business intelligence and integrations
- Knowledge of Internet search techniques and ability to obtain information from the Internet
- Strong customer service orientation with problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to maintain confidential information in a discreet manner
Physical/Special Requirements
- This position will require working outside of normal business hours upon occasion.
- Occasional travel may be required.
