POSITION SUMMARY: The Vice President (VP) of Parts & Service is a strategic executive role responsible for the full P&L ownership and operational leadership of the new Parts and Service Division of a leading tank trailer manufacturer. This individual will drive revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction across all aftermarket parts, field service, maintenance programs, and service center operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive aftermarket strategy to grow parts sales, enhance service offerings, and expand recurring revenue.
* Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing teams across service centers, parts distribution, and technical support.
* Collaborate with other executive leaders on strategic initiatives including M&A integration, expansion planning, and product lifecycle support.
* Full profit and loss accountability for all parts and service operations.
* Monitor and manage revenue, cost structure, margins, inventory levels, and working capital.
* Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.
* Establish and oversee national service center network, ensuring excellence in repairs, inspections, warranty service, and mobile field support.
* Build strategic partnerships with national fleet accounts to secure long-term service agreements and preferred parts supply.
* Manage and grow all parts distribution operations, including procurement, vendor relationships, logistics, and pricing strategy.
* Lead initiatives to improve customer experience, reduce downtime, and optimize turnaround time.
* Leverage data and KPIs to drive operational decisions, demand forecasting, technician productivity, and fill rates.
* Implement technology tools such as CRM, ERP enhancements, AI enablement and digital customer portals to streamline service operations.
Drive cross-functional alignment between field intelligence-service issues, warranty trends-and the engineering and product teams to accelerate continuous improvement and reduce repeat failures.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field (MBA preferred).
* 10+ years of leadership experience in aftermarket parts, service, or operations, ideally within the commercial vehicle, heavy equipment, or trailer industry.
* Proven track record of P&L ownership, team leadership, and driving year-over-year growth in parts/service revenue.
* Deep understanding of fleet maintenance, technical service operations, and distribution logistics.
* Strong customer orientation and commercial acumen.
* Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and team development skills.

Preferred Experience:
* Background in tank trailer manufacturing, parts and service, bulk hauling, or specialty transportation equipment.
* Experience building or scaling service center networks and/or ecommerce parts platforms.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience working in a high-growth organization and developing metrics & KPIs to monitor financial performance.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with Senior executives, with proven ability to demonstrate respect and cultural awareness when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
* The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas were all areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shops and other mandatory safety equipment.
* For the most part, ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
* Sit or Stand as needed
* Walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day
* Reaching above shoulder height, below the waist or lifting as required to reach documents or store materials throughout the workday.
* Proper lifting techniques required
