IEM is looking for a Full Time - Administrative Assistant that is comfortable with using computers in an office environment for a general administrative role assisting the IEM team.

Primary Location:




  • Live within a commutable distance to Port Richey, FL.


  • Work in an Office Environment with a team.



Travel Requirements:



  • This position may require travel to complete work assignments or attend meetings.


Essential Functions:



  • Coordinate all aspects of office administration, including administrative support including but not limited to:


    • Telephone support
    • Creation of general correspondence
    • Typing
    • Filing
    • Mailing
    • Scheduling
    • Making copies
    • Sending mail including UPS & FedEx
    • Scanning
    • Other administrative duties


  • Pull documentation needed for contract requirements.
  • Data entry for invoicing assist with reviewing of reports.


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Experience: One (1) years' experience in office management/administration, preferably with a public agency or assisting grant programs.
  • Degree: High school diploma.
  • Experience and degree substitution: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - including a strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experienced, energetic, highly motivated, self-motivated, dependable person
  • Must be comfortable in fast paced environment
  • Written and Verbal communication skills
  • The ideal candidate is extremely comfortable with administrative computer usage.
  • Knowledge of corporate level office practices must also be comfortable with the corporate and customer environment.
  • Self-starter who is confident in their abilities and willing to take the initiative.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Knowledge of federally funded housing grant programs such as CDBG/CDBG-DR.
  • Knowledge of various database and program management tools such as SmartSheet, Power BI, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite products.


Additional Information:



  • Office Locations: Often, these offices are either owned by the client we work with or by IEM. All candidates are expected to follow any rules and regulations of the office in which they are required to work for that project.
