Corewell Health's Inpatient Phlebotomy Services at William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak is a high-volume, fast-paced, hospital-based laboratory, performing up to five hundred blood draws daily. Our work is essential to patient care-from early diagnosis through treatment and recovery. We are deeply committed to supporting patients and their families. The Supervisor of Lab Support Services, in collaboration with the Manager, will primarily oversee administrative operations, with occasional involvement in direct patient care. Experienced Lead Technicians support each shift. Our ideal candidate is an experienced phlebotomist and analytical thinker, capable of assessing workflow, setting priorities, and guiding the team to maintain optimal performance. The anticipated start date for this position will be January 2026. Scope of work Under the direction of the Phlebotomy Manager, responsible for the daily coordination of the phlebotomy laboratory staff and operations. Essential Functions

Effective January 1, 2026, following the execution of a new agreement between Corewell Health and Quest Diagnostics, this position will transition employment to Quest Diagnostics. While this role will be integral to Corewell Health laboratory operations, employment will be with Quest Diagnostics effective January 1, 2026, contingent upon successful completion of Quest Diagnostics' pre-employment requirements.
