HOW YOU WILL IMPACT OUR MISSION The Director of Integrated Marketing leads and manages the organization's integrated marketing efforts across all key channels and departments. This role is responsible for overseeing the planning, alignment, and execution of all marketing communications by managing a high-performing team and leading cross-functional collaboration across the organization. This position reports to the SVP and Chief Marketing Officer.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Oversee team responsible for integrated marketing strategy and the project management of all marketing initiatives, including but not limited to, hiring, performance management, and mentoring.
- Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing plans across consumer touchpoints (CRM, media, social, promotions, partnerships) through a comprehensive channel planning process.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure consistent brand messaging and strategic alignment across all initiatives and campaigns.
- Partner with key stakeholders to develop and maintain a marketing calendar that aligns product, promotional, and institutional priorities.
- Drive internal alignment across departments (Promotions, Social Media, PR, Communications, Creative, and Media) to streamline communication and campaign timing.
- Manage communication between Marketing and other departments (Finance, Legal, Operations, IT, etc.), ensuring project timelines and deliverables are met.
- Develop and present strategic marketing plans for new product launches, attractions, habitats, and events.
- Partner with leadership to provide a clear marketing point of view and ensure alignment with broader organizational goals.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR JOB EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of progressive experience in marketing in a leadership role overseeing integrated marketing and project management required.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with management, colleagues, and business partners across multiple organizations and teams.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Must have a strong understanding of marketing strategy, creative development, media planning and campaign execution.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across departments and levels of leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with competing deadlines using effective time management skills.
- Ability to manage highly effective, collaborative, and diverse teams yielding high levels of productivity.
- Able to handle complex situations with tact, resiliency, adaptability, and comfort in ambiguity.
- Must have strong editorial skillset and working knowledge of AP and Chicago Manual of Style.
- Able to operate moderately complex computer software programs including PowerPoint, Excel, AirTable project management software, Word Press, and Drupal.
- Strong understanding of marketing strategy, creative development, media planning, and campaign execution.
- Awareness of various forms of communication technology.
- Work well under pressure and handle multiple time-sensitive deadlines.
- Must have strong communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
