The Charging Operations team ensures that Tesla continues to deliver the best possible charging customer experience through proactive engagement and growth of the global charging network. The Tesla Diner Program Lead is a member of the Charging Operations team, responsible for site management of our new diner in Los Angeles, CA. We launched our diner July 2025, which is home to 250+ occupant dining, drive-in movie screens, and 80 supercharger stalls open to all NACs-compatible electric vehicles, providing an unparalleled and immersive customer experience for charging, dining, and entertainment. This position will be based in Los Angeles, CA and must be available to work occasional weekends and holidays.
What You'll Do
- Own overall site experience and performance
- Direct daily business activities, ensuring smooth operations, delivering the highest quality customer experience
- Responsible for site management, financial reporting, operator performance / accountability, new initiative launches, and long-term planning
- Serve as the primary liaison with critical internal teams (IT, vehicle, merchandise, design, construction, finance, procurement, security, service, events, senior leadership, etc.) and external vendors
- Develop and continuously improve operations strategies, including revenue optimization, financial management, team member performance and general oversight
- Drive high uptime and quality with lowest cost with Facilities Manager, review and action customer and vendor feedback in collaboration with our Experience Specialist
- Track team and individual performance, conduct assessments, and drive continuous improvement
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Business Administration, Management, relevant field of study, or equivalent experience
- Experience in high-end hotels, restaurants, or equivalent experience
- Proven track record in a managerial role, with a focus on operational and strategic leadership
- Ability to exceed expectations in delivering white-glove, VIP experience
- Agile, with the ability to manage shifting priorities, showcasing resilience in high-pressure environments

Expected Compensation
$95,000 - $193,800/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
