Job Description

Technical Consultants work with many different leading-edge firms to help them implement and adopt new technologies across a variety of exciting projects. Consultant - Building Solutions delivers comprehensive consultation and services across a wide spectrum of software and workflows to help companies harness the full potential of their design technology. They also assist the client in implementing these solutions on actual building design projects.

Principle Duties And Responsibilities

• Consult with customers to help define their needs and qualify solutions to address them.
• Work closely with sales staff and customers to document business goals and related processes.
• Help define customer-specific data standards and frameworks for tailored solutions.
• Write deliverable documents as applicable such as scopes of work and recommendations.
• Map existing workflows and recommend technological solutions to support or improve workflows
• Create intellectual property to support sales and implementation efforts.
• Provide classroom training, mentoring, follow-up, and technical support to assist clients in the adoption of new technology.
• Deliver software and industry-related technical presentations at seminars, workshops, conferences, user groups and client sites.
• Act as a brand ambassador always seizing opportunities to increase IMAGINiT's visibility in the marketplace.
• Lead multifaceted technology implementations to successful adoption
• Participate in enterprise-wide digital twin and digital transformation engagements, defining and executing client project deliverables
• Interface with various levels of project executives up to and including C-Level leaders
• Drive problem formulation, comprehensive analysis, and problem resolution
• Establish client value propositions that tie key strategic, financial, and operational metrics directly to near-and long-term business improvement
• Contribute to the engagement process from start to finish, including setting scopes, budgets, staffing resources, creation and coordination of client-ready deliverables and aid with communication of results with clients

Qualifications

• 7-8 years of industry experience in facilities management or related roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capability to translate technical concepts into business value.
• Advanced ability with Autodesk Revit across multiple disciplines.
• Knowledge in additional industry-related Autodesk software such as the Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks, BIM Collaborate Pro, or AutoCAD.
• Ability to be engaged in multiple projects at one time is essential.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across teams.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Resourceful, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational, time and project management skills.
• Strong business acumen, high energy, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Experience in data consulting or digital twin technologies is preferred
• Experience working within or advising large organizations on data standards and tailored digital solutions is preferred.
• Experience working in a consulting environment providing clients with implementation services is preferred.
• Background with applications related to building operations, including AI, is preferred.

• Technical sales experience a plus.
• Comfortable presenting in front of small and larger audiences
• Understanding of and experience in all aspects of design and construction industry practices.
• Ability to tee-up conversations, ask thought provoking questions, see and probe problems.
• Can manage multiple priorities, multitask, meets deadlines, and prioritize requests.

Compensation

Additional Information

• Base Salary Range: $95,000- $115,000
• Plus a Bonus
