The Sales Operations Support Analyst plays a vital, service-oriented role in supporting the daily needs of the sales team. This position acts as the first line of support for sales reps, ensuring they have the tools, data, and assistance needed to sell effectively. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, a customer-first mindset, and a passion for helping teams succeed.
This role combines hands-on operational support with system administration, process coordination, and real-time troubleshooting - all designed to keep the sales engine running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a key point of contact for the sales team, providing timely support on processes, systems, tools, and inquiries.
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day issues related to CRM usage, quoting tools, sales policies, or data discrepancies.
  • Support onboarding of new sales reps by coordinating system access, tool setup, and training sessions.
  • Deliver responsive and proactive service to ensure reps can focus on selling without operational roadblocks.
  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, ensuring smooth functioning of sales workflows.
  • Execute data entry, updates, and account management support based on rep or manager requests.
  • Coordinate user access, permission changes, and role updates across sales tools.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and data pulls upon request to support sales conversations, forecasting, or territory reviews.
  • Maintain up-to-date dashboards and performance tracking sheets to provide real-time visibility into sales performance.
  • Ensure consistent application of sales processes across teams by providing guidance and documentation.
  • Support rollout and adoption of new sales tools, processes, or policy updates through clear communication and training materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Customer Success) to resolve issues impacting the sales process.
  • Maintain clear documentation for sales support procedures, FAQs, and common troubleshooting topics.
  • Act as a liaison between sales reps and technical or operational teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Support the Public Admin sellers and impact sales productivity, improve forecasting, advance rep efficiency, and streamlined operations, ultimately driving revenue growth by reducing manual work and empowering both reps and leaders
  • Support inside and field sales teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Become proficient in quoting tools, CPQ systems, and sales enablement platforms.
  • Gain mastery of processes, including sales cycles, pipeline stages, and common challenges faced by sales reps.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced, technical environment.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and follow-through on details.
  • Highly organized and motivated with the ability to work on multiple projects and the ability to manage projects to completion
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related fields, or comparable work experience.
  • Sales, sales operations, or related experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM system, preferably Dynamics CRM
  • Experience in business process analysis, business requirements gathering, software application setup and configuration, or similar experience
  • Hands-on data analysis, querying and reporting experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the proven ability to effectively communicate with all management levels.
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
