Job Title: Senior Director, Enterprise Platform
Department & Team: IT
Reports to: VP, IT Enterprise Platforms & AI Services
Location: Remote (US)

Summary:

We are seeking a strategic technology leader to oversee the design, delivery, and evolution of enterprise platforms that power critical business operations. The Senior Director will set the vision and roadmap for platform strategy, drive modernization, ensure scalability and resilience, and align technology capabilities with business outcomes.

This role requires deep expertise in enterprise platforms (AWS, cloud, data, integration, automation, AI), proven success leading cross-functional teams, and experience managing vendor ecosystems at scale. The ideal candidate will combine technical acumen with business leadership, driving platform innovation, operational excellence, and measurable value creation.

Responsibilities include defining platform strategy, leading large programs, optimizing performance, ensuring compliance and security, and guiding high-performing teams. Success in this role means enabling agility, efficiency, and innovation across the enterprise through robust and future-ready platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set platform strategy and roadmap aligned with business priorities and technology trends.

  • Lead modernization and transformation initiatives across enterprise platforms (cloud, data, integration, automation, AI).

  • Oversee design, delivery, and lifecycle management of enterprise platforms ensuring scalability, resilience, and performance.

  • Drive vendor and partner management to optimize cost, performance, and innovation.

  • Ensure platform governance, compliance, and security meet enterprise and regulatory standards.

  • Build and lead high-performing teams with a focus on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Partner with business leaders to translate strategic objectives into platform capabilities that deliver measurable outcomes.

  • Optimize operations and cost efficiency through standardization, automation, and continuous improvement.

  • Track and report KPIs to demonstrate platform performance, adoption, and value delivery.

  • Foster innovation by introducing emerging technologies and practices that enhance agility and competitiveness.

Desirable Skills

  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience

  • Enterprise Architecture expertise with ability to design scalable, secure, and resilient platforms.

  • Cloud mastery (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including migration, optimization, and multi-cloud strategies.

  • Data and integration leadership (APIs, middleware, data pipelines, analytics platforms).

  • Automation and AI adoption to drive efficiency and intelligent operations.

  • Vendor and partner management with strong negotiation and contract governance skills.

  • Program and portfolio management for large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.

  • Executive communication with proven ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and boards.

  • Change management skills to drive adoption of new platforms and ways of working.

  • Financial acumen to manage budgets, optimize spend, and deliver ROI.

  • Talent development with a track record of building high-performance, diverse teams.

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.

$171,200.00 - $317,800.00
