POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Regional Sales Representative remotely based on the West Coast. The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for selling dormakaba Multihousing access control products through our integrator and distribution channels. The Regional Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business in an assigned territory through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and generating leads.

**This position is based on the West Coast with a prefrence for California**

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $82,000 - $115,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop end user opportunities by marketing company product lines and offering value-added services to prospective end users
  • Develop new distribution opportunities by marketing company product lines and offering value-added services to prospective resellers
  • Maintain relationships with established end user accounts by coordinating with the Distributor/Integrator to achieve and maintain satisfactory solutions to the end user
  • Gain understanding of new and current end user needs by following a consultative selling approach
  • Responsible for implementing tactical programs; such as, but not limited to, "try-me" programs, etc., in an attempt to influence end users to switch from a competitive brand

WHAT WE REQUIRE

  • 2+ years of Sales experience
  • Expected to travel 50% + of the time

WHAT WE PREFER

  • B.S. degree in Sales, Business, Marketing or similar field
  • Salesforce.com experience
  • Knowledge of door hardware product lines
  • Electronic sales experience
