WHAT YOU'LL DO:
The Lending Relationship Officer promotes credit union products and services to new, existing and potential members. The Lending Relationship Officer provides professional service and sales of loan products (with an emphasis on Home Equity loans) as well as deposit products and other convenient services through effective interpersonal skills and proficient knowledge. The Lending Relationship Officer is responsible for meeting established Credit Union and Department goals through active participation in sales programs. This position works with a customer referral base of Realtors, Builders, Financial Service Providers, and Consumers.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Availability to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm at our Plymouth Office; exempt.

In addition:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience with financial customer contacts.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
  • Previous experience and success in business to business sales and/or relationship and referral-based sales, preferred.
  • Knowledge of banking and/or credit union regulations, preferred.
  • Experience building networks in a sales environment, preferred.
  • Must possess highly-developed interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to help people.
  • Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations governing consumer lending practices.
  • Knowledge of TruStone policies and procedures governing consumer lending practices.
  • Must possess good judgment and decision-making ability.
  • Must be a self-motivated and independent worker.
  • Must possess basic math skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work and maintain accurate records.
  • Projects a professional image.
  • Ability to communicate with a diverse membership and employee group.
  • Ability to accomplish the described responsibilities through the use of computers and technology.
  • Ability to work in a changing, challenging, and fast-paced work environment with variable stress levels.
  • Required to be compliant with the terms and conditions outlined in TruStone Financial's SAFE Act Policy, which includes the submission of fingerprints, the successful completion of an FBI background check and maintaining current and compliant registration in Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
  • Maintain compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions.
  • Ability to pass all pre-employment drug test and various background checks.
  • Responsible for regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.

WHAT WE OFFER:

The salary range for this position is $54,500.00 to $68,000.00 per year. In addition, we offer:
