As HR Business Partner for our Enterprise Functions, you won't just support the business - you will help shape it. Partnering with senior and executive leaders across Finance, Digital, Technology, Marketing, and other critical teams, you will drive our people agenda that accelerates performance, champions culture, and empowers our talent to deliver impact in an organization of constant growth and opportunity.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across Enterprise Functions, providing insight, coaching, and solutions that align the nVent people strategy with business goals.

  • Build and maintain effective working relations with leaders to advise on organizational design and change, workforce planning, and talent strategies.

  • Lead and support initiatives such as performance management, succession planning, talent acquisition, career development, and others.

  • Leverage people data and analytics to provide insights, inform strategy, and measure impact

  • Collaborate with managers to recognize and resolve issues related to employee relations, guaranteeing alignment with our values and high ethical standards.

  • Support engagement initiatives to retain high performing employees and maintain an inclusive environment.

  • Facilitate and assist in the progress of functional growth projects, including establishing career ladders, and transformation initiatives like restructuring and acquisitions.

  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated HR solutions. Ensure effective HR operations in the area of responsibility.

YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required; master's degree is preferred.

  • 7+ years of progressive human resources business partner experience is required; experience in a matrix environment is preferred.

  • Proven ability to independently support management as a dependable HR Consultant, applying comprehensive knowledge in labor regulations, HR basics, legal standards, and guidelines.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, capable of encouraging trust, providing training, addressing employee relations matters, and aligning HR initiatives with business strategy.

  • Demonstrated business insight and analytical thinking, emphasizing outcomes and the ability to prioritize and navigate multiple competing priorities.

  • Adaptability to rapidly changing business environments, with a growth mindset and readiness to facilitate organizational development and change management initiatives.

  • Experience as an HR generalist with the ability to operate with limited supervision, applying sound judgment and legal knowledge to complex situations.

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$89,300.00 - $165,800.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
