The Role

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Business Developer Analyst to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY.

The key responsibilities of this Position include, but are not limited to:



  • Maintains constant focus on business and regulatory compliance policies and procedures.
  • Designs, develops, and tests new and/or modifies existing web-based and mainframe applications.
  • Handles migration of applications from mainframe languages to web-based languages to meet business and technical requirements.
  • Analyzes the technical and business requirements, including functional and non-functional requirements, to develop a systems solution.
  • Works closely with business partners to understand business requirements to design quality technical solutions that align with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards.
  • Provides system software support for web and mainframe applications and components.
  • Maintains a current understanding of how technology can enhance and offer a range of solutions for business partners.
  • Designs, develops, and tests the creation and/or maintenance of web-based and mainframe applications.
  • Applies a thorough knowledge and strategic view of one or more web applications/tools to help meet the needs of the organization and complete assignments.
  • Conducts research and integrates industry best practices into systems processes and potential solutions.
  • Maintains solid relationship and strategic partnering skills with business partners, team members, and external associates.
  • Understands, supports, and helps define the vision and direction for software development

Salary: $60,500 - $80,000

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 2+ years of software development experience
  • Work experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
  • Proficiency with relational database systems, object-oriented programming, and web application programming
  • Proficient with Microsoft development tools and platforms
  • Understanding of technologies including C#, SQL, Entity Framework, JavaScript, JSON, HTML and CSS
  • Experience with relational database systems including SQL Server
  • Experience with C#, JavaScript, CSS, HTML
  • Experience with .Net Framework, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core
  • Experience navigating complex problems and finding solutions
  • Experience with RPG, Cobol, and DB2 a plus
  • Experience with AI APIs a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Power product a plus
  • Understanding of enterprise applications
  • Ability to approach projects and problems with an analytical mind (necessary to understand the organization's project and business requirements)
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable is required (this role is not suited for those who cannot easily adapt to change)
  • Competent ability to work with SQL and other database environments/queries is essential
  • This position entails sitting, typing, and use of computers several hours a day.
