The Role

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY.

The key responsibilities of this Position include, but are not limited to:



  • Prepare paperwork for all international shipments for export, and everyday shipments
  • Prepare all documentation for Dept. of State License/Commerce Department, hazardous material shipments, direct government shipments and all customer required portals
  • Interface and problem solve for other Amphenol shipping facilities
  • Process invoice reversals for all Amphenol Aerospace Operations facilities
  • Manage document retention requirements to QMS guidelines
  • Interface with TTC on any freight billing questions
  • Works with UPS, FedEx and other carriers on import/export questions
  • Audit and approve payment of all import invoices
  • Reschedule, re-route, intercept, and expedite shipments
  • Trace and provide proof of delivery upon request
  • Responsible for the integrity of front sheets, prints and engineering changes on the floor
  • Make recommendations for improving production flow and operating efficiencies
  • Schedule, prioritize and follow contracts throughout the area; coordinate with supervision and process engineering to ensure that schedules are attained
  • Perform physical counts of shelf materials either from MRP system generated reports or physical locations
  • Compare count results to MRP system on hand balances and research causes of discrepancies
  • Process physical counts in the MRP system once investigation is complete

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:



  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 to 3 years' experience in manufacturing, logistics (warehouse, shipping, Hazmat, freight), and inventory control
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • AS400 experience preferred
  • Hazmat training/certification experience
  • Able to multi-task in fast paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and be adept at both oral and written communications
  • Being a team player
  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking
  • Must be able to lift 20-40 pounds
  • Must be able to navigate and work in manufacturing environment which may include noise and warm temperatures
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate and solve problems cross functionally
