Position Summary: ASME code Certified Welder that perform welds which require current code and addenda of ASME Section IX, Section VIII, Division1 and Section I. under the supervision of a Quality Engineer. Also preforms welds may or may not require certification using spot, PAW, Mig, and Tig, welders to join parts, vessels, enclosures, etc. to accepted manufacturing standards. Setup and operate equipment needed to cut, stamp, bend, form metal parts and materials for welding Functional Contribution (Contribution Matrix): Uses judgment to know when to refer issues to others * Recommends and implements solutions within designated area of responsibility * Technical troubleshooting of process, equipment, and product. * Contribute in problem solving activities. * Understand the processes and can apply them in multiple work areas and has the ability to train others on specific skills. * Uses resources to learn the business * Identifies ways to reduce waste and improve business processes * Transfers knowledge from one situation to the next * Demonstrate knowledge with Microsoft Office and other computer systems * Demonstrates approachability and openness * Establishes credibility * Demonstrates excellent interpersonal listening and communication capabilities * Uses the Watlow Business System (WBS) to achieve results * Demonstrating the Watlow Way (WW) Leader Behaviors Skills, Abilities and Mastery (Responsibility Matrix) Delivery: Perform welds which require current code and addenda of ASME Section IX, Section VIII, Division1 and Section I. under the supervision of a Quality Engineer. * Perform welds that require approval from an outside testing lab and is accepted by the Manufactures record of welder. * All the responsibilities /Activities of the Welder II Business Partner: * Quality Engineers * Process Engineers Center of Expertise (COE) * Welding Techniques - ASME Code Certification under the supervision of a qualified Quality Engineer and approved by a qualified testing lab. * ASME - GTA - 45 in 5G * ASME - GTM 11 process 1 in 6G Education, Experience and Certification Requirements: Preferred Two-year degree or Technical Certificate or related experience (3-5 years) Leadership training Benefits: The Watlow Total Compensation Plan The health, well-being and financial stability of you and your family is a high priority to us.
