Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Accounting Staff to join our corporate office team. This role will primarily focus on posting incoming cash receipts, supporting commission accounting, assisting with sales representative reimbursements, and handling accounts payable functions. The ideal candidate will bring clerical experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with sales management, senior leadership, and internal teams. This is a versatile position that offers exposure to multiple areas of accounting as we determine the best long-term fit for the role.

Essential Functions:




  • Post and reconcile incoming cash receipts accurately and timely
  • Assist with commission accounting processes and reporting
  • Collaborate with sales management and selling staff to review, process, and approve sales representative expense reimbursements
  • Support accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and payment tracking
  • Maintain detailed and organized accounting records in compliance with company standards
  • Adapt to evolving responsibilities as the role develops within the department
  • Communicate effectively with management and senior leadership regarding financial processes and updates


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities



  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • General understanding of accounting concepts and practices
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a changing environment
  • Strong recordkeeping and clerical skills


Minimum Requirements:



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of clerical or accounting-related experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members and leadership
