About the Role
As a Business Development Manager, you'll lead a team of sales and marketing professionals to identify and drive new business opportunities that align with Kyocera's technologies and strategic goals. You'll play a key role in market analysis, customer engagement, and cross-functional initiatives that shape the future of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and strategic partnerships
- Lead cross-functional marketing initiatives (tradeshows, social media, product placement)
- Conduct market and technology trend analysis
- Build and maintain senior-level customer relationships
- Oversee financial reporting and sales performance metrics
- Mentor and manage a high-performing sales team
- Represent Kyocera at industry events and conferences
- Support M&A evaluations and integration planning
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or related field
- 8+ years in marketing/business development, including 5+ years in sales management
- Proven success in executing business development strategies
- Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Experience in product/project management
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; confident public speaker
- Valid U.S. driver's license and eligibility to work in an ITAR environment
