The construction of fairlife's manufacturing facility in Webster, NY is underway. This state-of-the-art, 750k sq ft, greenfield plant is expected to be operational in late 2025 and will lay the foundation for fairlife's next phase of growth as the leading dairy nutrition provider. While coupling the industry's latest technologies and fairlife's operational excellence to build this world-class facility, fairlife plans to hire 250 new employees and bring in approximately 5 million lbs. of milk a day, with room to grow over the coming years.

shift schedule:

12 Hour Nights:This is anight shift position, with hours from6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The role follows a rotating 2-2-3 schedule: two days on, two days off, three days on, followed by two days off, two days on, and three days off. Team members will workevery other weekend, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Job Purpose:
Assists in compliance with established procedures and maintains effective internal controls over the physical product flow and accounting of inventory, receiving, shipping, and other inventory areas in manufacturing, warehousing (internal and third party), and DC operations.

Responsibilities:



  • Adhere to best practices for food safety and quality, along with promoting the fairlife culture of Believe in Better.
  • Coordinate the flow of materials and trailers throughout the shipping and receiving operation, maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
  • Accurately complete all shipping/receiving documentation, ensuring food safety and quality are prioritized in all actions.
  • Utilize Yard Management Software to execute trailer moved and driver communication.
  • Accurate receipt confirmations from suppliers, accurate data entry of receipts, accurate shipping documentation of outgoing material to customers, and organized filing of manifests, certificates of authenticity, and bills of lading.
  • Communicate and maintain flow of contracted shuttle service to outside warehouses if applicable
  • Assist shift supervisor and lead to ensure daily goals are met.
  • Be Audit Ready: Have floors, drains, cooler, and posts cleaned as needed.
  • Coordinate outbound and inbound material flow to support sustainable inventory levels in our 112,000 sq ft racked storage, and 90,000 sq ft high density ASRS.
  • Inform other departments of necessary changes or inventory discrepancies.
  • Respond to email correspondence regarding appointment scheduling, routine warehouse questions, and coordination of Powered Industrial Fleet maintenance requests.
  • Verify daily yard checks and call out any concerns.
  • Assist with common shipping issues and problem solving.
  • Communicate with planning and logistics regarding carrier or load issues to ensure expedient resolution.
  • Maintain accurate filing system of controlled documents.
  • Assist Shipping Supervisor or Warehouse Manager with data collection.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Skills/Qualifications Required:



  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Accuracy and high attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with professional demeanor.
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, WMS) and preferred D365 and SAP experience. Any Yard Management Software experience is a plus.
  • Self-starter and self-motivated with the ability to complete work assignments based on broad directions with minimal supervision.
  • Desired 3 to 5 years of warehouse or manufacturing experience.


Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:



  • 12 hours sitting/standing/walking. Position will start off with 8hr shifts, with a gradual ramp up to a 12hr 2-2-3 schedule at steady state.
  • Ability to lift up-to 50 lbs.
  • Reaching/bending frequently (Re wrap and re stack pallets as needed by hand)
  • Exposure to hazards (Forklifts, Electric Pallet Jack, Scissor lift, Pallet wrap machine)
  • Temperatures from 34 degrees to 77 degrees

  • Notify supervision of any repairs or adjustments that are required that may affect product quality or food safety.
  • Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy while in the Production Areas.
  • Perform all duties necessary to meet Company, Customer and/or Government requirements/standards as prioritized by the Company.
  • Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety system.
  • Identify and record any problems relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety system.
  • Control further processing or delivery of nonconforming products in terms of Food Safety and Quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
  • In the event of absence, another employee with the same skill level will assume the duties and responsibilities as required.

  • The job is performed indoors on a manufacturing floor. Exposure to loud noises, dust, dirt, sparks, oil and smoke may occur. Protective safety equipment may be required including, but not limited to,: hearing protection, bump caps, hair and beard nets, shoes, gloves, hardhat, and safety eyewear as needed. Activities may include extended periods of standing.
