Overview
This is a hybrid position based in Redmond, WA. The expectation is 3 days a week onsite. The position will start as a 9 month engagement but is expected to extend to 18 months. You will be at the forefront of transforming our operational processes, ensuring seamless material flow and driving continuous improvement within our supply chain. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping future state operations and supporting strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities & Impact:
- As a core member of our team, you will be instrumental in developing and optimizing operational processes for critical buy/sell operations within our silicon supply chain. Your contributions will directly ensure efficient material flow and continuous process improvement.
- Onboard to existing processes, tools, and reporting to establish and align current state operations.
- Develop and optimize processes, tools, and reports to support key operational roles, leveraging your expertise and collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) for cross-functional alignment.
- Interface with engineering and project management teams to establish requirements through effective change management.
- Present functional decisions for alignment to management and support cross-functional consensus.
- Conduct current state mapping and define future state processes, creating comprehensive documentation.
- Develop and maintain critical documentation, including process flows, transaction manuals, and escalation procedures.
- Actively participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), representing the operational role and ensuring seamless integration of changes.
- Support the execution of future state processes, including transactional activities.
- Create and maintain a detailed Transaction Manual, supplementing official business processes with escalation paths, examples, reports, and automation insights to facilitate knowledge transfer.
- Identify opportunities for workflow automation and recommend continuous improvements.
- Document lessons learned, potential improvements, and links to reports.
- Transfer knowledge, deliverables, project records, and other relevant materials to internal teams, providing a summary of best practices and recommendations.

Required Skills & Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in a relevant operational or industrial engineering capacity.
- Process Mapping/Development: Minimum 5 years of experience in current/future state mapping and process engineering.
- Advanced Excel: Minimum 3-5 years, demonstrating advanced proficiency for developing tools and reporting.
- SAP: Minimum 3-5 years, experience in supply chain or operations context.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex requirements and develop clear, actionable processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with proven experience facilitating meetings and gathering requirements from diverse stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience leading process development projects from conception to implementation.
- A background in industrial engineering or a related operational field.
