The Administrative Assistant provides advanced administrative support and assistance of a sensitive and confidential nature while coordinating the work activity and special assignments for a Company executive. This position also exercises independent judgment and thorough knowledge of Company policies and procedures. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS This position requires a minimum of five years of progressively responsible administrative experience and an associate's degree from an accredited university or an equivalent combination of related education, training and work experience. This position also requires thorough knowledge of administrative clerical office practices and procedures; Company practices and procedure manuals; scheduling appointments, itineraries and business functions; report writing; advanced verbal and written communication techniques; composing sensitive correspondence; problem-solving techniques; handling difficult calls and situations; recordkeeping practices; basic accounting/budgeting procedures; standard word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software; email systems; proper use of the English language to include spelling, grammar, vocabulary and punctuation; standard office equipment; proficiency in the set up and use of audio and visual aids and related equipment.
