The Landscape Architecture Practice is seeking a Landscape Designer/Landscape Architect to support a high-profile entertainment client in Glendale, CA.

This is a hands-on, mid-level role for someone who thrives in imagining and shaping outdoor spaces with creativity, detail, and technical excellence. You'll be part of a collaborative team working on exciting client-driven projects that require both innovation and precision, from early concept design through detailed construction documentation.

What You'll Do Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide design and production support for a major entertainment client, helping to bring their vision to life through high-quality landscape and site design solutions.
  • Lead design development on a variety of project tasks from concept/schematic through to detailed construction documentation.
  • Create graphic presentations, imagery boards, renderings, illustrations, and photo simulations to communicate design intent.
  • Produce and coordinate base sheets, planting plans, hardscape layouts, assist with cost estimates, and visual studies.
  • Ensure design quality and consistency; organize and manage design packages; perform internal QA/QC on documents.
  • Coordinate with internal teams; engage with stakeholders to review design, schedule, budget, and feasibility.
What You Bring Required Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5-8 years in landscape architecture and design, including experience producing construction documents.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Land FX, Photoshop, SketchUp, Illustrator, Revit, and Lumion.
  • Advanced skills in 3D modeling.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Applicants must possess a graduate or undergraduate degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university or a certificate from a Landscape Architecture extension program.
  • Strong knowledge of plant materials and hardscape design.
  • Ability to manage complex site conditions and technical challenges; good understanding of code, accessibility, and sustainability in site design.
  • Applicants should be prepared to provide a link to their portfolio or other accessible examples of work if requested.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with large-scale or themed public spaces, entertainment environments, or other client-driven design projects.

    • The posted salary range represents the typical range for this position and is provided in accordance with applicable state and local transparency laws. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
