Job Title: Vulnerability Assessment Analyst III | Exempt

Location: 2070 Chain Bridge Road in Vienna, VA, OR 1750 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC.
Clearance Level: Active DoD - Secret
SUMMARY We are seeking a Vulnerability Management Specialist for a potential opportunity to identify, analyze and manage vulnerabilities across enterprise networks and systems. This role is responsible for ensuring continuous improvement of detection signatures and communicating vulnerability risks to stakeholders.
The Vulnerability Management Specialist position requires strong technical expertise, proficiency in vulnerability analysis and the ability to develop solutions to complex security problems. This is a unique opportunity to shape the growth, development and culture of an exciting and fast-growing company in the cybersecurity market.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Identify, analyze and manage vulnerabilities across enterprise systems and networks.
* Continuously update and tune detection signatures to improve vulnerability identification.
* Collaborate with internal experts to develop solutions to complex vulnerability management challenges.
* Communicate vulnerability findings and remediation recommendations to stakeholders.
* Support remediation planning and validate the effectiveness of implemented fixes.
* Conduct deep analyses to assess the impact of vulnerabilities on end products and solutions.
* Contribute to the development of vulnerability management standards, processes and tools.
* Provide input into strategies to strengthen overall enterprise cybersecurity posture.
Education, Background, and Years of Experience
* Bachelor's degree or 3+ additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills
* 7+ years of relevant experience.
* Proven ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into clear, actionable tasks and processes through critical thinking.
* Must possess an active Secret Clearance.
* Expertise in vulnerability management, analysis and remediation practices.
* Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and detection signature tuning.
* Strong understanding of enterprise network and system security.
* Ability to collaborate across teams to address unclear or complex security issues.
* Experience supporting SOC operations and vulnerability reporting.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Environmental Conditions
* Onsite 5 days a week.
* Must pass a background check.
Strength Demands
* Light - 20 lbs. Maximum lifting with frequent lift/carry up to 10 lbs. A job is light if less lifting is involved but significant walking/standing is done or if done mostly sitting but requires push/pull on arm or leg controls.
