Summary
Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the supply chain and sterile processing. This role involves managing inventory, coordinating supply chain logistics, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and leading a team to ensure efficient and effective supply management to support sterile processing equipment, patient care, and operations. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions Supervise and coordinate the activities of Central Supply staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations. Provide leadership and support to ensure high levels of staff engagement, productivity, and adherence to departmental policies and procedures. Oversee inventory control processes, including ordering, receiving, storage, and distribution of medical and non-medical supplies. Monitor inventory levels to ensure that adequate supplies are available while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of supplies and equipment. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards related to supply management and safety.
