Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering , Environmental Science, Chemistry or Biology, plus 2-4 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Specialist II- 2-4 years related experience Specialist III - 4-7 years related experience Sr - 7 years + related experience REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Valid driver's license and a safe driving record. PREFERRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Registered Professional Engineer - Preferred Registered Environmental Manager (REM) ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS The following work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing essential functions of this job. PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES The following physical activities described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Highly repetitive type of work which requires concentration in the performance of tasks for consistent time cycles as prescribed by the tasks. While performing the functions of this job, the employee is continuously required to talk or hear; regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and occasionally required to taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; and color vision. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Familiarity with power plant and electrical transmission system processes is preferred. Comply with all safety and environmental regulations and complete all safety and environmental required training as required by AECC. Must be able to travel up to 35% of the time to various locations throughout the state of Arkansas as well as out of state.
