Medical Practice Representative Location: Baltimore, MD Shift: 1st Shift \| 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Pay Rate: $18-19/Hour 6 Month Contract to Hire: Long-term & Permanent position with a company that offers opportunities for growth About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Practice Representative to join our esteemed client's outpatient team in Baltimore. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of Maryland's largest healthcare providers, known for delivering exceptional patient care across the region. Key Responsibilities * Register and schedule outpatient appointments * Perform charge entry and collect co-pays * Manage medical records: pull, refile, and maintain documentation * Answer patient inquiries via phone with professionalism and empathy * Process referrals and release of medical records information * Support facility and professional collections optimization * File loose reports and maintain filing systems Qualifications * 1-2+ years of experience in medical scheduling, reception, administration, phone operations, co-pay collection, and prior authorizations * Experience with Cerner EMR is a strong plus * Excellent customer service and communication skills * Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment Why You'll Love This Role * Work with a prestigious healthcare provider * Daytime hours with a consistent schedule * Competitive hourly pay * Opportunity to grow within a dynamic medical setting Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
