The Department of Biomedical Informatics at the Ohio State University is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Research Scientist to support and manage large-scale research programs, contribute to pharmacoepidemiology and informatics research, and assist in the development and assessment of AI education programs. This position will play a key role in managing complex research and educational initiatives and supporting the departments mission to advance biomedical knowledge through data-driven science and interdisciplinary education. Minimum Education and Qualifications PhD degree or equivalent experience. Familiarity with NIH or federally funded program management. Proficiency in statistical software and knowledge of clinical or health data. Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated experience in managing large research programs or projects. Strong scientific writing skills, with demonstrated experience in preparing manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications. Prior experience working with educational programs, including curriculum development, assessment, or program coordination. |
