Position Summary

Under the direction of production management, this position works to perform a variety of operational functions that constitute the production, inspection and distribution of products or services for our customers.



Schedule: Night


Pay rate: $25.75/hr

Essential Duties an Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate flexographic printing press according to job specifications.
  • Monitor press operations to ensure quality and consistency of output.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press equipment.
  • Inspect printed materials for defects and ensure alignment with quality standards.
  • Adjust press settings to correct problems and improve output.
  • Load/unload material, inks, and other supplies into the press.
  • Check and fill Oxidry hopper, when needed.
  • Obtain proper color ink from ink dispenser and reduce/increase viscosity when needed to ensure color matches printing specifications.


  • Maintain accurate production records and logs.
  • Collaborate with prepress and finishing teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Order correct tubing through the forklift driver servicing the department.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
  • As a team member, follow all safety, quality, plant GMP and safe food handling rules

Education

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Computer knowledge; 1-2 years of windows applications experience.
  • Ability to use various quality equipment tools such as; microscope, micro-meter and tape- measure.
  • Radiation certification preferred.
