What you'll do We're thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity to join our Viasat Government People & Culture (P&C) team as a Director, Internal Communications & Employer Reputation. This hybrid role offers the best of both worlds: meaningful collaboration in our Carlsbad office and the flexibility of remote work. The Director, Internal Communications & Employer Reputation is a strategic communications architect responsible for shaping Viasat Government's (VGOV's) internal narrative, employee engagement, and employer brand. Reporting directly to the Head of People & Culture for VOGV, this role partners closely with the President of VGOV and the executive leadership team to craft and communicate the company's strategy, business priorities, and progress toward delivering on those goals. Operating at the intersection of business transformation, leadership messaging, and employee experience, the Director ensures timely, transparent, and compelling communication across all levels of the organization. This includes People and Culture (P&C) initiatives, enterprise strategy, organizational change, and cultural evolution. The role also oversees VGOV employer reputation insights, ensuring VGOV's culture, values, mission, and employee value proposition (EVP) are consistently reflected across internal and external channels. Salary range $145,000.00 - $229,000.00 / annually. For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $180,500.00- $270,500.00/ annually At Viasat, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience. Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional cash or stock incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
