Summary The Purchasing Agent plays a critical role in supporting operational success by sourcing and securing high-quality goods and services at optimal cost. This position is responsible for identifying product needs, researching suppliers, and negotiating pricing to ensure reliability, cost-efficiency, and quality. The Purchasing Agent must adhere to the purchasing guidelines while developing and maintaining vendor relationships. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers, to grasp, grip, handle, or feel.
