Responsibilities

SCOPE:

Under direct supervision, provides clerical and administrative support to the human resources team. Primarily responsible for administrative and coordinating duties regarding leaves of absence. Performs various activities including greeting employees, screening calls, and maintaining appropriate records. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards and Shared Values.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates MNO's leave of absence process as the central point between the leave administration company (MetLife), managers, and staff.
  • Ensures staff and manager compliance with MNO's Leave of Absence policies and procedures.
  • Tracks ADA accommodations and maintains associated paperwork and other administrative requirements.
  • Assists with maintaining job requisitions and all associated records through MNO's applicant tracking system.
  • Assists with administrative duties during the onboarding and offboarding process.
  • Maintains personnel files in accordance with employee confidentiality, policies and procedures, and all regulatory/accreditation requirements.
  • Manages day-to-day administrative duties of the Human Resources department including scanning, filing, preparing correspondence, and updating logs.
  • Assists in organizing employee events and promoting employee engagement activities.
  • As requested, runs HRIS reports and enters information into the HRIS.
  • As requested, performs initial screenings of applicants for open positions.
  • Other reasonably related duties as assigned.

SALARY LEVEL:

$25.00 - $31.00 per hour


Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of human resources or administrative experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills using the English language.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred:

  • 1+ years of leave administration experience.
  • Knowledge of Minnesota and Wisconsin leave and labor laws.
